Description:
1.By means of the current assignment, the Contracting Authority wishes to conclude an agreement for the provision of services with regard to the collection of debt claims from the Contracting Authority, both in Belgium and abroad. This concerns approximately 33,000 invoices (of which 2,000 with payment plan) for Belgium and 1050 invoices for abroad - in 2024)
With regard to collections abroad on behalf of UZ In Leuven, approximately 35% of the recoveries are located in the Netherlands. The other countries are currently (non-exhaustive list) Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Sweden. This mainly concerns patient invoices but is not necessarily limited to this.
With regard to collections on behalf of the University and LRD, the majority of the collections are domestic, although there are also foreign debtors in the context of unpaid rent. This concerns rental debts, and occasionally evictions, unpaid invoices in the context of continuing education, childcare and sales, as well as recovery of overpaid wages, but is not limited to this.
