- IVAGO is looking for a provider to process its green waste from selective collection for a period of three years (extendable by 1 year), starting from January 1, 2026.
Green waste is defined as: all compostable organic waste from gardens, parks, public areas (e.g. prunings, leaves, lawn clippings, plant remains, weeds, garden and cut flowers, hedge clippings), banks of watercourses or roadsides or from nature reserves plus, in limited quantities (approx. 5%), tree stumps, branches.
Processing means: the acquisition and the effective recycling through green composting in accordance with current legislation.
The green waste can consist of the following flows: household waste (collected door to door or at the recycling parks) and/or municipal waste (collected through maintenance work by municipal services).
The The provider must be responsible for the processing location with delivery bunker and/or a transshipment location at a maximum of 25 km driving distance (calculated on the basis of the shortest distance by road, one-way via Routenet with 40 T truck) from the central point (IVAGO head office, Proeftuinstraat 43, 9000 Ghent).
In the event of transhipment, the provider is responsible for both the transport from the transshipment location to the processor and the processing of all green waste itself.
