Hogeschool Vives goes with Health House looking for a partner to set up an existing building into an innovative Xperience Center, called "The Flax", which is an English translation for "the flax" (the origin of the building). The Flax stands for Future Learning & Augmented Xperience and consists of a substantive and material hatch. In addition, bundles and shares the Flax proactive expertise in new technologies, sustainability and future thinking with students, teachers, schools, companies, (local) boards and citizens. In the physical experience center, thanks to immersive arrangements and supported styrylines, they can gain a held experience and test new innovative technologies. This creates a strong interaction between theory and practice. The Flax will offer a unique experience in the visitors about possible future changes in our society. Every year or at a time responding to current events, new themes will be used. New technological developments will also be allowed to be tested, including Virtual Reality.
