• ATE-25-0029 Operator desks for remote control The deliveries include the supply of 18 operator desks for the control room in Willebroek according to the design described in these specifications. De Vlaamse Waterweg nv operates bridges, locks and weirs distance from control rooms. The Flemish Waterway has divided its operating area into three territories or regions. Each region manages a number of corridors or shipping routes. For the operation of these works of art/objects, a remote control center developed. In these remote control centers, operation is done from operator desks. A prototype of these operator desks was specially designed for this purpose in another assignment. These are already being used at a number of locations. The Vlaamse Waterweg has already built 2 power stations, one in Evergem for the West region and one in Hasselt for the East region. By analogy, De Vlaamse Waterweg is currently building a 3rd control center in Willebroek (Central region). This assignment provides the supply and installation of the operator desks for the remote control center of the Central region.
