The European Commission (Directorate General Taxation and Customs Union) has decided to replace the current tax marker for diesels and kerosene, Solvent Yellow 124 (SY124), which has been used since 2003, by a new tax marker bearing the business name Accutrace ™ More (butoxybenzene). To distinguish between mineral oils which are subjected to high levels of accused (eg diesel) and mineral oils which benefit from reduced excise (eg heating diesel), The legislation of the European Commission requires marking less imposed mineral oils (red diesel) with a chemical substance, the tax Euromarker. The new tax euromarker, butoxybenzene, must be defined with a gaseous two -dimensional chromatography with a mass spectrometer as detector (2D-GC-MS or GCXGC-MS).
