Description:
The works consist in the creation of a temporary immersion zone on the water course "The haye", allowing to retain approximately 21,000 m³ of water in the event of high rain for a return period of 50 years. During the hydraulic study of the hatred watershed, of which the Rieu de la Haye is a tributary, it was highlighted that the Rieu overflows in several places and mainly on rue Saint-Hilaire and rue Armand Dufontery in Carnières. The Zit is located in the middle of the fields and meadows between the streets of Collarmont and Sault in Sault in Carnières (Morlanwelz). To be able to make this restraint of water, a earth dike barring the water course will be created. Waterproofing will be provided by a curtain of Palplanches in the heart of the dike.
