- This call for tenders aims at supporting the intelligence gathering and horizon scanning function of the Directorate General for Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (DG HERA) in particular through providing essential information that can be used as an input by HERA to carry out its activities in the field of intelligence gathering on cross-border health threats and medical countermeasures. The intelligence gathering service to be purchased will foster the swift collection, summary and presentation of relevant requested data from which HERA will conduct further analysis, including literature searches, desk reviews, scanning of databases, and the presentation of the information collected in studies. These activities will be executed in complementarity of services provided by Services and Agencies, explicitly not to replicate existing information, but to address essential gaps to ensure solid preparedness and response activities targeting MCMs.
