- General objective This project aims to establish a robust, transparent and efficient process to identify, evaluate and synthesize clinically relevant scientific publications from the international literature. This work must support structurally evidence-based practice (EBP) in Belgium and supply the future Central Evidence Portal with reliable, high-quality information. Context Evidence-Based Practice is an approach that combines the best data available scientists, the expertise of the healthcare professional and the values ββand preferences of the patient in a given clinical and/or social context. Despite the progress made in recent years, EBP activities in Belgium still remain scattered. By centralizing them within the Federal Center of Health Care Expertise (KCE), the objective is to improve the efficiency, visibility and impact of the work carried out, in order to better support all Belgian health professionals. Specific objectives The mission includes several main objectives: 1. Organize a broad, continuous and sensitive documentary monitoring of international literature. This should make it possible to quickly identify new relevant publications, including clinical studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and other research findings that may influence health care decisions. 2.
