Description:
This contract is a contract comprising 3 lots, each constituting a separate contract, the purpose of which is the supply of:
• Lot 1: synthetic material containers with adjustable handles with an approximate volume of 42 liters;
• Lot 2: two-wheeled synthetic material containers with a volume of 140 and 240 liters;
• Lot 3: four-wheeled synthetic material containers of 660 and 1100 liters.
The contract concerns the supply of containers, spare parts and possible accessories.
For all batches, a mandatory option is provided for the marking of the lid or the tank and for the supply of the tools necessary for container repairs.
For batches 2 and 3, a mandatory option is provided for the repurchase by weight of the material of decommissioned containers/parts.
As an indication, currently, 30 municipalities, or approximately 61% of the population of the Province of Namur (+/- 311,000 inhabitants) are equipped with a smart container for the collection of their household waste.
This market aims to allow other municipalities in the Province (i.e. +/- 200,000 inhabitants) to set up this type of collection if they wish and to continue to supply the municipalities already equipped.
Currently, several municipalities are seeking information regarding the transition to waste collection by containers at chip but no decision has yet been made.
