Description:
To address the stability of the banks and the high energy consumption of its infrastructure, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv wishes to combine both issues with the PIO project “A dike from a solar panel” through an innovative pilot project or to set up and test a pilot setup in which solar panels are integrated into newly constructed slope slabs along the waterway. To gain the right insights for a successful tender, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv, PIO and Verhaert organize now a market consultation in which we invite the precast concrete construction, hydraulic engineering, energy and digital technology sectors to work with us to define solution directions and estimate their feasibility. The market consultation will take place on April 22, 2026 Hasselt.
