- The project concerns the complete repair of the flat roofs of the existing building. The work consists of: * Replacing the existing waterproofing with a new EPDM membrane. * Improve the thermal insulation of roofs, in accordance with the requirements of the EPB regulations. * Raise the parapets to guarantee a minimum slope of 2% and a parapet height of at least 15cm. This intervention will be carried out by raising masonry in cellular blocks behind the existing parapets, in the concern to preserve the current aesthetics of the facades. The parapets will then be covered with aluminum wall coverings. * Implement collective protection in accordance with current safety standards. The specifications will be taken into account single market. The specifications will be divided into 2 phases. The work will begin with the stage/theatre and end with the library. The work must reduce as much as possible noise pollution in the afternoon during activities in the area. library part. Execution time The time is expressed in CALENDAR DAYS, i.e. 122 days. The work must be completed by September 30, 2026. Consequently, the planned start date of the work will be set for 06/01/2026. The file will be subsidized by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
