- Object: This assignment concerns a framework agreement for the maintenance of Belnet's (existing and future) optical and IP network infrastructure, the supply of additional equipment and the associated services for 5 years. Explanation: The contract is divided into 2 lots, each of which forms a framework agreement. Lot 1: 'Framework agreement for the maintenance of Belnet's (current and future) optical infrastructure and its rectifiers, the supply of additional equipment and the associated services.' By optical infrastructure we mean Ciena equipment. The Ciena network is installed on the territory of Belgium and 20 km outside its borders. Lot 2: 'Framework agreement for the maintenance of the (current and future) IP infrastructure of Belnet, the supply of additional equipment and the associated services.' By IP infrastructure we mean Juniper equipment installed on the backbone, at our customers (the CPE), in our data centers and on the BNIX (Belgian National Internet Exchange). The Juniper equipment is installed on the territory of Belgium and 20 km outside its borders. Infrastructure / equipment is understood to mean all hardware including the necessary software. With maintenance we mean: Type 1 maintenance: 7/7 and 24/24 assistance including preventive, corrective and evolutionary maintenance and on-site intervention and repair within 4 hours of the intervention request.
