- The purpose of this project is to carry out maintenance work and hydromorphological work on 2nd category and third category watercourses in the Province of Luxembourg: Ourthe and Amblève sub-basins. It refers to the CCT QUALIROUTE. This is work falling into the category of maintenance work and small repairs as described in the Water Code - Title V. The work is spread across the territory of the municipalities of the Ourthe and Amblève in the Province of Luxembourg. This project also includes work implemented by the Province of Luxembourg as part of the Life Vallées Ardennaises Project (hydromorphological work and work aimed at ensuring the free movement of fish). Joint work is also planned with the municipalities of Durbuy and Houffalize. DESCRIPTION OF THE EXISTING SITUATION AND OBSERVED DEFECTS: Problems following the presence of various limiting factors: • insufficient stream size, • obstacles to flow: landfalls and jams, etc. • riparian forest: threatening trees (watercourse size, etc.), • erosion of banks and destabilized banks, • destabilized engineering structures, • occasional hydromorphological problems SAFETY AND COORDINATION HEALTH: The work does not require a safety and health coordinator.
