In the Spanish fort, the development of the habitat "Riet en Water" is aimed atFrom a ratio of approximately 3/4th water cane and 1/4th lake over an area of 8 ha. Within this habitat, a good water quality is aimed and natural landing vegetation of floating and hiding water plants must prevent. The sub -area is located in the Birds Directive areaWith an open landscape of water and marshes as a landscape typology and includes buffer zones that are partially furnished as wet nature with grassland and ponds/ponds/marsh zones, surrounded by dikes and hiking trails. The management is aimed at a sufficiently large and qualitative habitat andForaging habitat for the habitat typical breeding bird species.
