Description : This procurement procedure concerns the supply of an LC-MS/MS instrument. The Food and Feed Compliance unit of JRC Geel is developing reference methods and reference materials to support the standardisation of food allergen measurements in the EU. The peptide analysis by Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry (IDMS) in complex food matrices by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry is a key step in the quantitative assessment.
Emphasis will be put on best possible retention time reproducibility, a low sample carry-over for the chromatography system while performing a trap column load/elution of the sample using two gradient pumps. For the mass spectrometer the best possible sensitivity, dynamic range and fast ms/ms acquisition is required.
This call will include the supply, installation, training and maintenance services during and after warranty period of 24 months.
