- This assignment concerns a multi-year agreement regarding the offering and support of an online Library Services Platform. The object of this assignment consists of several parts, which are one and indivisible (one single lot):
•Management of the back-office library processsses of the UB Gent library network
•Public interfaces for the online library services of the UB Gent library network
•Linking interfaces for integration with external platforms or platforms from the broader digital landscape of Ghent University
•Implementation and guidance of the migration processfor switching from the current local to future cloud infrastructure of the Library Services Platform
The hosting, migration, maintenance, general support of the platform and the realization of the connections are carried out by the supplier in consultation and collaboration withthe contractor. The client controls the chain of systems and the interfaces with the other systems. This management and the responsibilities of the supplier and Ghent University are further elaborated in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to be agreed between the supplier and Ghent University.
