- In the field of clinical diagnostics, the precision and reliability of genomic analyzes are of the utmost importance. This requires strict requirements for Library Prep and consumables for Target Enrichment, so that they meet the high standards that are essential for accurate andReproducible results. These kits play a crucial role in preparing DNA steels for sequencing, a process that includes fragmenting nucleic acids, adapteration and the enrichment of genomic locations. The efficiency and quality of these steps have directlyInfluence on the subsequent sequencing and diagnostic accuracy. In the Center for Human Heredity (CME) of UZ Leuven we strive for a harmonized workflow where all samples follow the same, automated procedure. To achieve this we strive for a uniform libraryPrEP method and two different capture panels, one cancer-specific panel for solid tumors, hematological malignancies and testing for cancer predisposition and one extensive, adapted ex-panel for most constitutional diagnostic needs. The tumor panel would be around 7500 steelHaving per year and the Exome panel will be used for around 6,000 samples per year. In total we speak of 13500 samples per year.
