Description:
The Gog large shore-Kleine Wal-Zwijn (GOG Wal-Zwijn for short) is located on the Hamme territory and, according to the decision of the Flemish Government from 22-07-2005, belongs to the first implementation phase of the updated Sigma plan ("at least in execution no later than 2010"). Following the new GOG Wal-Zwijn to be constructed, there is also the depoldering of the Groot Schoor. In 2007, the development plan for the GOG Wal-Zwijn was drawn up and both the project mer and the GRUP were approved in 2010. The first urban development permit was obtained in 2012. The Zandstock was constructed in 2013 and in 2016 the works for the construction of the Gog Ringdijk started. These works were also partly based on a 2nd urban development permit from 2016. For various reasons, the works were changed than licensed (2012) for which an environmental assessment was drawn up. With this study assignment, De Vlaamse Waterweg NV wishes to restore the situation by obtaining a regularization permit.
