Description: ILVA wants to evolve waste processing to raw material production and aims to form its composter site in Schendelbeke to a circular eco-raw materials hub. With this PIO project, ILVA wishes to focus on a sustainable processing of biomass and the closing of cycles by turning green waste into biochar for valuable (new) areas of application. We also focus a focus on the recovery of energy in the form of heat. With this project ILVA, together with PIO and industrial partners, wants to look for a good synergy between local biomass operation in combination with valorization of the biochar and maximum heat recovery. For the decrease in the biochar, we look at ground-based applications such as the plantation of trees, by building applications such as concrete production and to filtration application ... - Documents :
