Consisting of two sub-assignments A and B: A. Mapping relevant examples of (business cases of) cross-border infrastructure/projects 1. Focus on specific energy media and regions O to be investigated media: water, CO₂, heat, and hydrogen. o Geographical focus: Flanders-the Netherlands,The Netherlands Germany, France-Flanders 2. Selection criteria for relevant cases: O minimum 3 and a maximum of 5 cases per medium. o Relevance determined by: • cross -border character and scale of the collaboration. • Innovative technical couplings (eg heat buffers, hydrogen storage). •Access to information and approachability of owners/managers. • Potential torque opportunities for other media and infrastructure. o Also documented, non-realized projects with learning lessons can be relevant 3. per case an extensive sheet with (max. 10 pages per sheet) O generalProject information: Location, involved partners, status of the project/infrastructure o Technical specifications: technologies and infrastructure used (eg type of pipe, heat exchanger). o Legal and administrative aspects: permit processes, cross -border agreements andRelevant regulations. o Financial elements: available subsidies, cost structure and business model. o Spatial integration: Maps and plans with location annotations. 4.
