- Description:
- This contract is a works contract. The work is carried out on roads belonging to the regional network. The work governed by these special specifications is carried out in the municipality of Grez-Doiceau. The project relates to the installation a new noise barrier located along the N025 national road near Grez-Doiceau in the direction of Louvain. The noise barrier is mainly made of RAL 7003 absorbent concrete panel with a vertical structure. The panels are placed in front of the structural columns. The new screen is positioned in the shoulder at the edge of the road, according to the principle plans provided in the appendix to these specifications. This crosses the BDOA 6181 engineering structure. Generally speaking, the Screen support columns are embedded in the ground. However, at the level of the existing structure, the screen support columns are fixed by chemical anchors to the reinforced concrete wall of the structure. The metal guardrail is dismantled at the height of the work. The market is divided into 3 zones: 1. The first zone (zone 1) is located at the start of the project and covers a length of 87.00 m, from BK 17.855 of the national road N025, negative direction towards Louvain. The screen is located at the crest of the embankment and has an effective height of 3.20 m (including 0.20 m above ground concrete plinth).
