- The purpose of this concession is to ensure:
The installation of charging stations, their connection to the electricity distribution network and their commissioning;
The operation of the Charging Points, their management, their monitoring and the maintenance of the said installations on the whole of the durea of the concession.
These specifications describe the services expected from the future concessionaire, as well as the elements to be provided by the tenderer at the stage of its offer.
The Grand Hopital de Charleroi currently includes 6 hospital sites, 4 centers of consultations and differall support services. In all, this represents more than 4,500 people, all specialties and trades combined. However, in recent years, the GHdC has initiated a major turning point for its future: a new hospital is under construction and will bring together, from 2024, the majority of its activities.s.
The GHdC pays particular attention to the energy transition of mobility flows and wishes to offer a service to facilitate the charging of electric vehicles to its patients, visitors and staff.
To this end, the GHdC is considering the establishment of Charging Infrastructures ofElectric Vehicles (IRVE) on the sites that will remain in operation after the opening of the New Hospital.
Semi-fast charging points, with a power of at least 11kW (AC), are increasingly appearing as an appropriate solution for public charging of electric vehicles.
