Description:
The consultant will be responsible for the redesigning and the application of the different roles and rights that are assigned to the end users of OceanExpert as put forward in the following activities:1. Analyse the current situation.2. Redefine and document the roles a. Define, in close consultationwith the project manager, what roles are needed and what they mean for the working of OceanExpert. b. The new roles will have clear names that describe the attached roles in OceanExpert. c. Provide a clear documentation on those roles. d. Provide a manual on how the roles are used in OceanExpert.3.Provide PHPUnit tests to test the roles in OceanExpert. These tests will be committed to a specific GIT branch, dedicated to this development.4. Apply the necessary code changes to a specific GIT branch. The changes will reflect the new roles on all pages and actions in OceanExpert (web interface,API, …). Frequent commits, with readable comments, will be made to the specific GIT branch. No changes will be made to the database structure. 5. Implement a logging system to keep track of the actions of users with their specific role. The (super) admin users will have access to a clear reporting on‘who did what', either by an admin page or by a periodic email.6. Migration steps to move current users/roles to the new roles.
