- Object of these works Nature restoration in the Grote Beek valley. Purpose of the works The intended works are part of the restoration of hydrology, peatlands and grasslands in the implementation of the nature management plan Valley of the Grote Beek. The aim of this is recovery of European and regionally important biotopes and reduction of CO2 emissions due to desiccation. Place of execution The works will take place in the province of Limburg in the municipalities of Leopoldsburg, Ham and Beringen. The location of the plots on which work is taking place planned are shown on the maps in the appendix. Nature of the assignment The works cover various work zones and include: - Supply and installation of sand (soil) - Supply and installation of sheet piling - Supply and installation of rubble stone (construction of fronts and transition to current stream profile) - Removal and disposal of concrete - REQUIRED OPTION: Supply and installation of concrete bases (pedestrian bridges) - REQUIRED OPTION: Local transport and installation of steel profiles over the stream (pedestrian bridges) - REQUIRED OPTION: Supply and installation of gravel Category (CPV code): Earthmoving work (45112500)
