- The work carried out through this call for tenders is expected to support the development and maintenance of the HealthData@EU infrastructure. As proposed in the Regulation on the European Health Data Space, the HealthData@EU infrastructure should connect and federate health data access bodies, relevant EU bodies and health data research infrastructures for the purpose of secondary uses of health data. It should also minimise the transfer of data (e.g., bringing the queries to the data instead of transferring the data). The aim of this process is to promote health-data exchange and support research on new preventive strategies, as well as on treatments, medicines, medical devices and outcomes.
