• Description:
• In anticipation of a city-wide heating network, the City of Antwerp wants to make a temporary heat production installation, hereinafter referred to as an energy hub, available for several buildings on the Left Bank. The development of a heating network takes a lot of time. Some buildings already have malfunctioning boilers and are in need of a heating solution. It is for these buildings that the City of Antwerp is looking for a temporary solution, so that they can subsequently seamlessly connect to the heating network. This energy hub must be closed can offer fossil-free (or hybrid) heat to apartment buildings on a large scale (approximately 200 residential units). This concerns a temporary hub (movable), which takes the form of a modular heat pump and can be integrated into the public/private domain. Based on the market research conducted, the City of Antwerp has come to the conclusion that the combination of these elements is not yet available on the market.
