Purpose of the works The intended works are part of the recovery of the European protected habitats: • 1310 - Swallow with Seatress, Binnendijks • 1330 - Schorren, Binnendijks • RBBMR • RBBMACT take place of implementation & discharges The works take place in the province of West Flanders in the municipality of Lissewege(Bruges) in a zone belonging to protected heritage. The location of the plots on which works are planned are shown on the cards in the attachment. The works take place in a special protection zone (SBZ). The area was referred to by the European Union as a Habitats Directive area andis part of the Natura 2000 network. As a result, a number of vegetations and habitats are protected in addition to a whole list of rare animal species (species and habitats of the Habitats Directive). These works are aimed at restoring these Natura 2000 habitats.
