- The development of a new underground parking, which will offer considerable benefits for the parking facilities along the Kaaien, is part of the Scheldt quays Master Plan. The underground parking is realized under the quays at the height of the pilotage on the Tavernierkaai andVan Meterenkaai. The design focuses not only on compensating the above -ground parking spaces that are lost through area development, but also on improving accessibility and mobility in the region, which is of great importance for both the city and its visitors. TheAssignment in particular includes the further design - based on the basic design - and the construction of the underground parking and the required adjustments to the quays.
