Description:
Work order for the construction of a development consisting of a secondary school for 700 students, a daycare for 56 children and 112 homes with an underground parking garage with 46 spaces and a CASCO ground floor, as well as an access road and the associated environmental landscaping.
This assignment implements the first part of the "Van Praet Master Plan" for the development of GGB no. 4. The master plan was approved on May 6, 2021 by the City of Brussels and reflects the development vision supported by the City for the Neder-Over-Heembeek district, which includes the built-up areas, records accesses, destinations, branches and perimeters. It aims to develop a sustainable neighborhood. The perimeter of this assignment is owned by the City of Brussels and falls under the coordination of the Land Management Agency of the City of Brussels. The coordination on the part of the multidisciplinary team done by 51N4E. The project aims to distinguish itself in sustainability and the development of a large landscape area to promote biodiversity, with a focus on rainwater management and the fight against urban heat islands.
