Description:
A.S.T.R.I.D. will upgrade its radio communication system from a Tetra technology to a 4G/5G architecture. The main reasons for this evolution are in the evolving needs of our Mission Critical users to data and video services.
To achieve this, Astrid has it next Generation Communication program started. This program has already been announced via 2 (two) pre -announcements.
Astrid published a pre -announcement on March 12, 2023 to inform the supplier market about the Next Generation Communication Program, with the aim of being ample time To prepare themselves in a thorough and structured way for the public procurement that arise from this Next Generation Communication Program.
An updated version of this pre -announcement was published on December 23, 2024 and can be found as appendix A.1 "Pre -announcement - next generation mobile communication" and in the substantive adjustments that were made on 14/07/2025 (Appendix A.2) to this call for candidacy.
In addition, an explanation was given of the Next Generation Communication Program during an Agoria Event on March 28, 2024.
