Description:
The Agency for Nature and Forests manages approximately 70,000 hectares of parks, forests and nature reserves in Flanders. In these areas, even more than before, we want to pursue an active welcome policy and welcome visitors like a good host. Within that domains, attention is paid to the recreational function. To ensure this runs smoothly, the Agency for Nature and Forests places accessibility signs and information boards (reception signs, maps, learning path signs, etc.). The signs must have the give the visitor/recreationalist a clear picture of the various available paths, regulations, mapped out routes, information, etc. The accessibility signs serve specifically to make it clear which type of visitor has access where and when. See Part 'III Technical provisions' and Appendix C are attached to these specifications, for a technical description and visualization of what is meant by accessibility signs. These specifications aim at the selection of an external company responsible for production of accessibility signs for the Agency for Nature and Forests.
