Description:
The contractor undertakes to fulfill the following tasks on behalf of POABI: • Providing advice to international port authorities, both in the development of new infrastructure and in the renovation and modification of existing infrastructure. • As a contractor, you will coordinate workshops and consultation sessions with customers to identify their needs and infrastructure requirements. The contractor must identify and implement the critical design parameters to prepare a high-level design plan study so that the draft plan can serve as a basis for detailed follow-up studies. • The contractor takes care of the technical aspect of drawing up a port master plan and is part of a multidisciplinary team that develops a layered plan that represents optimal port development. • The contractor carries out technical feasibility studies of infrastructure projects. This includes analysis of technical aspects and requirements, evaluation of design options, cost estimation and risk analysis. • The contractor provides support to foreign ports in managing their assets throughout their life cycle. • The contractor supervises the implementation of construction projects and ensures that the intended quality is delivered within the budget and the predetermined deadline. • Due to the international nature of the position, the contractor is regularly abroad.
