Description:
This assignment includes the collection of color-separated hollow glass, according to the bringing method, originating from domestic use in the city of Antwerp, including recycling parks, for the benefit of the Stadsbeheer company. This also includes the glass used in the catering industry.
This service kcomes within Fost Plus' obligation to take back household packaging waste in accordance with the Interregional Cooperation Agreement on the prevention and management of packaging waste. To this end, the contracting authority has concluded an agreement with Fost Plus, the recognized organization for hhousehold packaging waste. It is also the latter who will pay for the services rendered by the service provider in the context of this contract.
The City of Antwerp acts as the contracting authority and Fost Plus will, as further specified in these specifications, assume certain responsibilities.The other matters will be arranged by the contracting authority, after consultation with Fost Plus.
The assignment includes:
• placement and rental of new aboveground glass bottles, both in the streetscape and at the recycling parks;
• emptying of the aboveground glass bottles and underground glass containers, weighing and transport of the glass to the purchaser both in the streetscape and at the recycling parks;
• cleaning and maintenance of aboveground glass banks and cleaning of the underground glass containers (above ground part);
