- Description:
- Archaeological research must be carried out for various Infrabel projects spread throughout Flanders that are to be realized by TUC RAIL. These projects include line routes for new railway lines, or next to existing ones railway lines, construction of a tunnel or bridge for the removal of a level crossing, construction or adjustments to an (existing) track bundle, construction of hydraulics, construction of buffer basins, construction of a building, etc. The framework agreement includes the execution of various types preliminary archaeological investigation with intervention in the soil based on an archeology note with a program of measures and, if applicable, the carrying out of excavations and the preparation of the various reports. For certain projects, the only the archaeological supervision in accordance with the program of measures. The works relating to making the site fully accessible, excavating the test trenches, profile pits and viewing windows, closing the trenches and the restoration of the site is done by a contractor from another assignment. The archaeological research is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the 'Code of good practice for the implementation of and reporting on archaeological preliminary research and archaeological excavations and the use of metal detectors'. 895319 - 1 For various Infrabel projects spread throughout Flanders to be realized by TUC RAIL...
