The V-Test(r) (www.vtest.be) is a free online comparison tool for energy contracts. A user can compare prices and other characteristics of all electricity and natural gas contracts offered by energy suppliers active in Flanders. On January 11, 2022, the Flemish utility regulator A new version of the V-Test(r) and the underlying product database. In that database, the details of all contract versions are stored, such as prices, discounts, options,…. The product database forms the heart of the V-Test(r) and is the unique data factory for all statistics That we publish on www.vlaamsenutsregulator.be/energiemarkt-cermers about prices and contracts, for information that we transfer to the index committee every month,…. On the one hand, this assignment includes maintaining and managing the existing V-Test(r) system and product database underlying. In addition, the Flemish utility regulator can implement additional functionalities during the term of this assignment, which must then also be maintained and managed.
