- SCK CEN wishes to modernize the 10T overhead crane of building BR1, room 164. This work includes Part A: engineering and study work (fixed part): - carrying out study and engineering work, in particular the redesign of the entire overhead crane. - carrying out calculationsresistance of the main structure of the overhead crane and the trolley and the determination of the FEM/ISO class. - calculation of the remaining lifespan taking into account the use of the overhead crane since it was put into service. After the execution of Part A, the contracting authority will decide whetherhe wishes to continue the execution as described in part B. Although the conclusion of the contract covers the entire contract, it only binds the contracting authority for the conditional part. Execution of the conditional tranche is subject to a decision by the contracting authority.ator communicated to the contractor (article 57 of the law of June 17, 2016). Part B: modernization of the overhead crane and trolley, which includes the following (conditional part): - dismantling of the hoist and winch on the existing trolley - adaptation of the trolley framework to accommodate an new 10T cable hoist. - add the openings on the trolley after dismantling the hoists if necessary, in accordance with applicable standards. - the manufacture, supply and assembly of a new cable hoist on the existing trolley. - dismantling of the current pon driverolling t and trolley. - the supply and installation of 2 new drives for the drive wheels of the overhead crane (2 units) and the trolley (2 units). - the installation of a new parapet on the main beams - the complete renewal of the electrical installation of the overhead crane andthe electrical supply of the overhead crane from the main switch located at ground level - the commissioning of all components as a functional unit, including a CE 2A declaration of conformity of the assembly. Please note that a visit to the site is obligatory and that uany request to this effect must reach the contracting authority at least 30 days before the site visit!
