The assignment includes 1. Format of a spatial master plan for the redevelopment of the hospital zone 2. Format of a development strategy for the redevelopment of the hospital zone. At the beginning of 2027, according to the planning in the VIPA file, the AZ Jan Portaels moved to a new hospital on the Salyx site. As a result, the current buildings are empty and a site of just under 13ha must be redeveloped between the historic center of the city and the former city walls.
