Description:
Development of a structure against flooding on the Cala, 2nd category non-navigable stream, upstream from the hamlet of Glabais to Genappe in Walloon Brabant. The work uses the existing roadbox of the N271 as a dike. The aim of the project is to create a retention zonea volume of 25,450 m3 upstream from the Cala watershed. The flooded area occupies an area of 1.9 hectares. This work is sized to be able to regulate floods whose return period is less than or equal to 50 years. For more exceptional events, the safety spillis loaded and allows the evacuation of excess flow. The book was sized to resist without uncontrolled overflows to events whose return period is more than 100 years. In addition, the regulatory work will remain accessible in times of flood via a path and a bridge.The construction of the structure includes: 1. The supply and installation at the start of the site of 5 bat nestlers to be placed in the Ripisylve; 2. The construction of a concrete drain work, provided with an adjustable wall valve (bottom rating +/- 105.0 m dng) protected by a grid,Caillebottis, bodyguards and valve maneuver equipment.
