- Works contract for the redevelopment of Parc Boël in La Louvière The location of the works corresponds to a “landscaped” style park dating from the end of the 19th century. The site includes a castle, a number of remarkable trees, a body of water and old factories which must be preserved. In addition, certain areas will be reserved based on the fauna inventory and the protection status of certain species (example: wall lizard). The contractor will therefore take the necessary measures to preserve the natural and/or historical elements of the park. It will also take all necessary measures to protect recently completed developments (cycle path, games, etc.). The main objective of the Adjudicating Authority is to reconvert this private park into a park accessible to the public. The contractor's attention is drawn to the fact that access is not yet public at the time of the work.
