- The Boortmeerbeek Haacht Keerbergen police zone is part of the integrated police and is responsible for local policing on its territory. The police work on the principle of excellent police care. This includes the balanced combination of community-oriented policing, information-driven policing and optimal business operations. The local police fulfills seven basic functionalities: community work, reception, intervention, victim treatment, local investigation, public order and traffic. With the arrival of a new chief of police two years ago and the move to... a new police station where all services of the police zone are housed together, a new and contemporary culture is being implemented in the organization. This makes it necessary to redefine the identity of the organization. We want to reflect this in a new mission, vision, values and baseline. These will also form an important part of the new zonal safety plan that will start in 2026. In addition, we also want to make this identity visible through a new corporate identity, so that the recognisability and appearance of the police zone are strengthened.
