- The object of the contract is the development, construction and commissioning of a vertical demonstration multi-layer cultivation installation, including a warranty period.
Vertical cultivation installations are already being used in so-called plant factories, which are highly conditioned environments withoutglow. Today, with the exception of a few experiments, use in greenhouses is virtually non-existent and places new requirements on these systems in terms of climate conditioning (temperature, light, humidity), irrigation, inspection and control of planting material and ease of use (planting, harvesting, cleaning). The economic yield, on the other hand, is strongly related to the cost price of these vertical systems. There is also a need for innovation in this area to make these systems common in the market.
The intended demonstration cultivation installation comprises a self-supporting structure with several cultivation layers, adequate nutrition and watering, possibly moving parts, and control. The installation complies with all applicable norms and standards and is delivered including the necessary inspections. The safety tests are submitted to the client for evaluation. The contractor also providesa warranty period that at least meets the applicable legal requirements.
The research into the state of the art resulted in various available type architectures, each with advantages and disadvantages. That is why Inagro wants to install one or two demonstration systems for vertical cultivation... - Documents :
