This is a technically complex assignment since the platform that Sport Vlaanderen has in mind must have many functionalities, must be able to be linked to various software and databases and communicate with the data warehouse of Sport Vlaanderen. Many legal complex rules such as the regulations regarding processing of personal data must also be met. Finally, we also expect a permanent commitment from the contractor after the assignment on further development and operation in -house so that the platform can evolve with the needs of the sports sector and also remain self -supporting. Sport Vlaanderen wishes to be able to negotiate this, within the legal possibilities of this procedure, in order to choose the best solution for this assignment. Negotiations with the market are therefore necessary.
