Today the Belgian guidelines for radiology are publicly available in plain text in a file on the website of the FPS Public Health. These guidelines are outdated and not user-friendly. In the context of the 2019-2021 e-Health Action Plan, a user-friendly system for integrating current radiology guidelines into the clinical workflow is needed.
Therethis requires a stand-alone application that searches for the desired recommendations in current, qualitative, evidence-based decision rules (following a simple search) and then presents these to the prescribing physician in order to support him in electronic prescribing.writing of radiological examinations for both general practitioners and medical specialists.
