Description:
This assignment concerns the design, delivery, installation and maintenance of a temporary bicycle and pedestrian bridge over the Koning Albert I-laan in Roeselare, as a temporary replacement (with or without reuse) of the existing 'Spiral Bridge'.
The temporary bridge must provide the necessary connection guarantee for vulnerable road users between the city center and the NMBS station, pending a sustainable solution for the current bridge infrastructure.
The temporary bridge should ensure the connection for vulnerable road users between the city center and the station pending a definitive long-term solution.
Pending a definitive solution, a temporary bridge will be provided with a minimum useful life of 5 years, with possibility until extension.
These will be further stated during the quotation phase.
