- This service contract concerns: A government contract for obtaining historical FCD data via an analysis tool includes the purchase of aggregated traffic data that provides insight into traffic flows and travel times over a longer period. These dates is used for analysis and policy making based on historical trends and patterns. This analysis tool is the first important part of the assignment. As a second part, the assignment also includes the delivery of some real-time travel times that meet the requirements current operational needs. This specifically concerns 19 travel times for display on the dynamic PMV signs and some travel times that are integrated within the traffic light center. A total of 50 travel times will be recorded simultaneously via API in real-time are requested and made available to Brussels Mobility. The real-time data is then also the property of Brussels Mobility. This data supports traffic management and contributes to a more efficient flow and better information provision to road users.
