In the context of this assignment, GZA acts as a procurement center, in accordance with Article 2, 6 °, a) of the law of 17 June 2016 in public procurement, for the related entities. For example, Gasthuiszusters Antwerp, University Hospital Antwerp, AZ Monica, AZ Waas and Durme, AZ Rivierenland and Azsint Blasius (Our Lady of Troost vzw) connected via the "Optimus Hospital Procurement Platform". This is the name of the initiative that these Flemish hospitals have taken in terms of joining. More information about Optimus can be found at www.optimus hospitals.be.
