With the mandatory introduction of ECDIS for SOLAS ships, this is a mandatory training within STCW. Our current ECDIS is no longer sufficient and needs to be replaced. This is a map simulator for ship navigation. In addition to the general ECDIS certification, a type-specific certification is also necessary.
