- KCE has been tasked with the scientific evaluation of a new financing system for home nursing care, which will be tested in a number of pilot practices. In addition to these pilot practices, the study will also include control practices. Data collection will be subcontracted in two parts. The firstpart will consist of a survey of nurses and nursing assistants, a survey of patients and a registration of practice characteristics. The second part involves conducting interviews and organising focus groups with nurses, nursing assistants, managers and sector representatives. There will be threemeasurement points for both parts : one before the intervention starts (3 months before the new financing system is introduced), one after one year (intermediate measure) and one post-test, after two years.
