Description:
In the Flemish Region there are various channels, rivers and stationary waters that are very important for public fishing and fishing position management. The Agency for Nature and Forest is responsible for fish position management in these waters. The assignment consists of the following parts: A)Make an estimate of the fish species composition, the fish biomass (kg/ha) and the fishingity (N/ha). b) Determination of the current fishing water type based on the fish stock present. c) Estimation of the fishing water type where the water will most likely go to in the future. d)Recommendations for the management, design and fishing outlets. The assignment includes two equivalent parts: 1. Performance of the fieldwork, data processing and estimate Visdensity and fish biomass. 2. Consultation and feedback with steering group and contracting authority; Extensive reporting withResults, conclusions and recommendations. The assignment is divided into two plots: Plot 1: Research into the fish stock in a few channels in 2025 Plot 2: Research into the fish stock in some stationary waters in 2025
