To support the implementation of electronic customs systems in Europe, the Multi-Annual Strategic Plan for Electronic Customs (MASP-C) proposes a framework to improve safety, efficiency and compliance with the regulations of air freight operations. By seamless data exchangepossible to make and improve the accuracy of information from economic operators (EOs), MASP-C encourages modernization of customs procedures and the transition from papers to fully electronic processes. In line with the MASP-C requirements, Brussels Airport and theAir freight community to optimize customs processes, strengthen risk management and to accelerate the flow of goods. Achieving compliance will also improve cooperation between customs authorities, forwarders, land handling and airlines, which leadsTo more transparency and safety within air freight shipments. To facilitate this transition, Brussels Airport Company wishes to have a customs application developed, aimed at supporting the Brucargo community and other Belgian air freight communities in compliancefrom MASP-C.
